How do I measure my dog's neck circumference?

Each manufacturer or brand of collars, harnesses, bandanas, etc. uses its own size label. Unfortunately, there are no standard sizes, so it is best to always check which size the store uses. For example, a Large at one store may be smaller than at another store.

Thanks to friends and family I was able to fit in with their four-legged friends and I was able to develop my own size label. These are listed with each product so that you know which size to take for your best friend.

With the slip-on bandanas I always ask the neck circumference of your dog so that I can put it together perfectly. This way your dog can wear it comfortably and we make sure that the bandana is not too big or too small.

But how do you best measure your dog's neck circumference? Have a flexible measuring tape at hand. You measure the neck circumference at the widest point (just above the shoulders). To make it as comfortable as possible for your dog, there should be two fingers between the neck and the measuring tape. This is the perfect size for a collar or banana.
